Operations & Automation Generalist

You're the type who looks at a to-do list of twelve items in the morning and thinks: how do I automate eight of these?

Hi, I'm Robbert, COO at Dripl.

At Dripl, we're building something that truly matters: reinventing the drinks industry. We replace single-use packaging and sugary soft drinks with a smart refill alternative. With our Refill Points, we've already avoided millions of single-use packages, and by 2030 we want to make that a billion.

We're growing fast. And that means our operations need to keep up. That's exactly why we're looking for someone who forms the backbone of our internal operations and actively works to automate them.

Why this role?

This is no classic nine-to-five admin job. It's a unique opportunity to help build the internal operations of a fast-growing scale-up from the ground up, while being the person who shapes how those operations look two years from now. Following procedures just because that's how it's always been done? Not your thing 😉

  • You get broad ownership: from HR admin and finance follow-up to people & culture.
  • From day one, you have the freedom and the expectation to automate whatever can be automated.
  • You work directly with the COO and get a unique inside view of how a scale-up works from within.
  • Your salary grows with the impact you make at Dripl.

What does the role involve?

The honest truth? A lot comes at you every day. New questions, shifting priorities, clashing deadlines. Part of your work is and will remain administrative, and that shouldn't scare you off. What you make of it depends on how smartly you approach it. You're someone who constantly weighs where the most impact is, recognises repetitive work and tackles it, and is flexible enough to reorganise the day when needed.

Finance & Legal Follow-up

  • You follow up and coordinate invoicing, contract management, leasing and payments, with external partners where needed.
  • You keep accounts receivable tight and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

HR & People Operations

  • Payroll coordination, HR admin and onboarding processes are your domain.
  • You make sure everything is correct, runs on time and is properly documented.
  • You help build the HR policy of a scale-up and carry final responsibility for it.

People & Culture and Office

You share responsibility for the atmosphere and culture at Dripl.

  • Organising activities and workations so the team collaborates even better.
  • Setting up Lunch & Learns and workshops that teach and inspire.
  • Making sure the office is a place people genuinely enjoy coming to every day.

A strong Dripl culture doesn't build itself. You put your shoulders to it.

Admin & Process Automation

  • You build workflows that eliminate repetitive tasks using Zapier, AI tools and other no-code or low-code solutions.
  • You proactively spot inefficiencies and tackle them. The sky really is the limit here, but you also know that not everything can be automated overnight.
  • AI becomes your right and left hand in carrying out a wide range of tasks.

Webshop, Supply Chain & Mailboxes

  • Operational support of our webshop and supply chain where needed.
  • Structured follow-up of central Dripl mailboxes.

Who are we looking for?

We're not looking for a specialist. We're looking for someone who can do a lot of things well, and who is smart enough to know when zooming out matters more than executing.

  • You have 2 to 3 years of experience in an operational, consulting or analytical role.
  • You're tech savvy: Zapier, Notion, Make, AI assistants. You learn tools quickly and embrace them.
  • You're structured and detail-oriented, but never lose sight of the bigger picture.
  • You're not afraid to get your hands dirty operationally at the start and see that as an investment, not a burden.
  • You have strong prioritisation skills: you know what's urgent, what's important, and what needs to be automated.
  • You're proactive and eager to learn: you ask questions, take initiative, and don't wait for instructions.
  • You speak and write Dutch and English fluently. French is a plus.
  • Experience with WooCommerce or other webshop platforms is a bonus. The same holds for Salesforce experience or Yuki (accounting) knowledge.

Practical

  • Full-time position.
  • We're based in Brussels and expect at least three days of office attendance per week.
  • Competitive salary package with a cafeteria plan. You help build Dripl and share in its success through stock options.
  • You report directly to the COO.
